HOW DOES BAPANADA CONSERVE WATER?

It takes roughly 1800 gallons of water to raise 1lb of beef and about 533 gallons to raise 1 lb of chicken. Plant based meat only consumes about 10 gallons of water per 1lb of plant "beef. " The conservation occurs through the less water consumed when eating with us. We save the water that would be  generally consumed from the poultry markets.
One pound of plant based meat will produce about 25 Empanadas. In one years time, Bapanada has utilized this metric to calculate the conservation of water from the poultry industry by 270,000 gallons of water. All of this is possible when customers eat our food, but especially our #1 menu item, the vegan Empanada.

WHY DOES BAPANADA PLANT TREES?

Each business transaction conducted by Bapanada donates a certain percentage to  planting trees with Aspiration LLC and the Aspiration Redwood Fund. The "Pay what is Fair" feature with Aspiration allows us to plant multiple seedlings where the need and demand for a climate offset is deemed crucial as determined by the Redwood Fund. Bapanada is a fierce supporter in taking care of the planet. We want to make a significant impact and professional stance on the way businesses do business with the Earth. In under two years, Bapanada has planted more than 127 present-future dated trees in support with Business actions against Climate Change.
